LIGHT IT UP BLUE MARINE CITY!!
CALLING ALL BUSINESS OWNERS AND RESIDENTS. We hope that you are able to take part in this wonderful opportunity to Light It Up Blue in April for Autism Awareness Month. Please find the following details of this new campaign Light It Up Blue Marine City!
Marine City, let's come together to support our neighbors and friends with autism by participating in the "Light It Up Blue Marine City" campaign. Tia Raica, a local resident, has tirelessly advocated for autism awareness, and now it's our turn to join her in spreading understanding and acceptance throughout our community.
Campaign Details:
1. Light It Up Blue: Beginning April 2 (World Autism Awareness Day), businesses, homes, and public spaces in Marine City are encouraged to illuminate their exteriors with blue lights. Whether it's blue bulbs, LED strips, or creative blue decorations, let's turn Marine City into a sea of blue to show our solidarity with individuals with autism. We will have luminaries available for businesses wanting to line up the front of their buildings with more blue bling! TO PURCHASE LUMINARIES CLICK HERE.
2. Blue Decorations and Signage: In addition to lighting up our exteriors, let's adorn our businesses with blue decorations. Blue ribbons, banners, and signage with autism awareness messages can be displayed prominently, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and understanding.
3. Social Media Campaign: We will be launching a social media campaign using the hashtag #LightItUpBlueMarineCity. We encourage people to share photos of their blue-lit homes and businesses, spreading the message of acceptance and support for individuals with autism far beyond our community. #LightItUpBlueMarineCity
4. Education and Training: We will be offering training sessions for employees to better understand how to interact with customers or colleagues with autism. Providing a supportive environment in businesses fosters inclusivity and ensures that everyone feels welcome and valued. Details will be available soon.
5. Collaboration with Organizations: We will be partnering with local autism advocacy groups, and support organizations to amplify the campaign's impact. We will be coordinating efforts to spread awareness and provide resources to individuals and families affected by autism in Marine City.
Let's make April a month of unity, understanding, and acceptance in Marine City. By participating in the "Light It Up Blue Marine City" campaign, we not only show our support for Tia Raica and others affected by autism but also reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive and compassionate community for all. Together, we can light up Marine City in blue and shine a beacon of hope and understanding for individuals with autism.
